All applications for renewal of alcoholic beverage licenses shall be filed with the town clerk through the Georgia Department of Revenue’s Centralized Alcohol website prior to November 15. All applications for renewal of licenses for the ensuing year shall be treated as applications for new licenses, except that they need not be advertised. Payment of license fees for renewal of licenses may be made at time of application or by December 31 and upon approval of
renewal and payment, the license will be issued

The Georgia Department of Revenue’s new centralized alcohol application process is designated for
retail alcohol initial license registrations and renewals. With this new system, all local and state
retail alcohol applications will uniformly be submitted through the Georgia Tax Center (GTC).
